LEADING WAY

Since 1997, Mike and Adriana have spearheaded efforts to break the cycle of poverty by establishing children’s feeding and educational centers in impoverished areas of Uruguay. They are currently feeding a hot nutritional meal to over 1000 children daily that they would not otherwise have. The feeding centers also provide government-certified vocational education to improve people’s job possibilities and long-term livelihood. 

 

Countless testimonies of now several generations of people having been assisted over the years and are now giving back and volunteering to staff our centers and expand outreach. The centers are located throughout the capital city of Montevideo in marginalized neighborhoods.

 

Since the onset of Covid shutdowns in March 2020 and the resulting drastic increase in joblessness and despair, the feeding center now not only feed children but entire families in need.
